The classic quote often attributed to Edmund Burke "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing," is never more relevant in the battle for wind power and renewable energy in the UK.....Whilst researching for this website, we found that for every proposed wind farm in the UK...there was a highly vocal anti lobby using websites and all manner of techniques to terrify the local community.

Recent rulings by the ASA that one such example of anti-wind farm marketing literature was unfounded, used spurious "alleged facts" and was therefore banned by the ASA from using the same claims again, nonetheless demonstrates the lengths to which these people will go.

It doesn't matter what the reason that brings you as supporters to wind and renewables, whether it be concern over climate change, continuity of supply, elegance, green jobs....those of us who support wind power must do things or else those ill-informed elements in society will triumph........
