Comments Policy

The Action for Renewables website is intended for the use of supporters of renewable energy in the UK. Discussion on every aspect of campaigning for renewable energy is welcome; indeed we encourage it! However, repeated trolling, spamming and flaming will not be permitted.

Trolling is commenting designed to provoke a reaction, rather than contribute to a debate. Repeatedly posting the same comment or argument across multiple pages regardless of context will also fall under this heading.

Spamming is comment that is wholly off-topic and repetitive, or advertisement for another site, product or service.

Flaming is commenting which disparages other users of the site on a personal level. This will not be tolerated at all.

If you break the site’s rules, you will first receive a warning, and if you persist in breaking the rules you will be banned from the site. If you believe you have been banned unfairly, email adam@actionforrenewables.org with a short statement of appeal.
