What’s fuelling your climate scepticism?

23rd November 2011

The last few weeks have seen some pretty big stories in the media about green energy, with lots of them suggesting that it’s our support for renewable energy that is pushing up the cost of our fuel bills.

It’s just the latest in a number of high-profile attacks on green energy, from BBC Panorama to the Duke of Edinburgh, and we suspect what’s really behind it is a refusal to accept the overwhelming scientific consensus that climate change is being driven by human action, especially the polluting fossil fuels that currently power our homes.

Our chair Tony Juniper has put together a rebuttal on the Panorama episode to explain exactly where we think they have got their facts wrong. You can view it here or on our brand new Action for Renewables Youtube Channel, in glorious HD.

A very good way of saving our "green and pleasant land".
